    Who we are

    Custom Production Grinding LLC (“CPG,” “we,” “us”) is a precision grinding shop located at N56W13500 Silver Spring Rd, Menomonee Falls, WI 53051. This policy describes what information we collect through our website, cpg1.com, and how we use it. Questions: info@cpg1.com or (262) 783-5770.

    What we collect

    Information you send us. When you submit our contact or Request for Quote forms, we collect what you provide: your name, company, email address, phone number, project details, and any files you upload (typically PDF prints). If you email or call us, we receive whatever you choose to share.

    Information collected automatically. Like most websites, we use a small set of third-party tools that collect technical information about your visit — your IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, and how you interact with pages:

    • Google Tag Manager and Microsoft Clarity — site usage analytics, including anonymized session recordings and heatmaps that help us improve the site.
    • Thomas WebTrax — identifies the company (not the individual) associated with a business network visiting our site, to help us understand which industries use our services.
    • Google reCAPTCHA — protects our forms from spam; subject to Google’s privacy policy and terms.
    • Google Fonts — loads typefaces from Google servers, which receive your IP address in the process.
    • Cookies — we set a cookie to remember your cookie-notice choice, and the tools above may set their own cookies. Our web host also keeps standard server logs.

    What we do NOT collect or do

    We do not process payments on this website, and we never ask for payment information here. We do not offer user accounts. We do not collect precise GPS location. We do not sell personal information to anyone, and we do not use your information for third-party advertising.

    How we use your information

    We use the information you submit to respond to your inquiry, prepare quotes, and perform work you hire us to do. We use analytics information to understand how the site is used and to improve it. Prints and technical files you send us are treated as confidential business information, used only to quote and produce your parts, and are covered by any non-disclosure agreement in place between us.

    How long we keep it

    We retain quote requests, prints, and related business correspondence as business records — stored electronically in our Microsoft SharePoint environment since 2024 — for as long as they are useful for quoting, production, quality documentation, and legal requirements; typically for the life of our relationship with your company and a reasonable period afterward.

    Who we share it with

    We share information only with service providers who help us run the website and our business (such as our web host, Microsoft — whose SharePoint service stores our business records — and the analytics providers named above), and where required by law. Your technical files are not shared with anyone outside CPG except as needed to produce your parts and as permitted by any NDA.

    Your choices

    You can decline non-essential cookies via our cookie notice. You can browse the site without submitting any form. You can ask us to delete contact information we hold about you by emailing info@cpg1.com — we will honor the request except where we need to keep records for active work, quality documentation, or legal requirements. Microsoft and Google offer their own opt-outs for Clarity and Analytics tracking on their websites.

    Children

    This is a business-to-business website. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.

    Changes

    If we change this policy, we will post the new version here with a new “last updated” date.
