Custom Production Grinding is a dedicated grinding shop in Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin. We do one thing: hold tight diameters and fine finishes on cylindrical parts.
Shops send us the work their equipment cannot hold. OEMs send us production they do not want to tool up for. We grind to 0.0002 inch on OD and ID, 0.0001 inch on centerless with roundness under 0.0001 inch, and finishes to 8 Ra, in a climate-controlled 33,000 square foot plant. We hone bores from 0.087 to 2.0 inches to the same standard. ISO 9001:2015 certified.
We run nickel and high-temperature alloys as production work, not as favors: Inconel, Hastelloy, Monel, Incoloy, A286, titanium, and PH stainless grades alongside hardened steel and chrome-plated rod.

Every order is acknowledged with a ship date. If a date is going to move, you hear it from us before it moves, not after. Expedite capacity is available for line-down situations.

We are not a machine shop with a grinder in the corner. Forty-plus grinding, honing, and hard turning machines, and people who have run them for years. When a part has to be round, straight, and on size, this is all we do — and all we have done since 1983.

Most of our work comes from other manufacturers. We grind, we ship it back to you, and we never quote your customer. NDAs are routine. Some of these relationships have run more than fifteen years on exactly that basis.
