Industries We Grind For
Grinding is process work. The same centerless machine that sizes a hydraulic spool also sizes a fastener blank and a shaft for a water meter. What changes from one industry to the next is the part family, the material, the volume, and what the customer inspects when the parts arrive.
One thing runs through all of them. We grind nickel and high-temperature alloys as production work, not as exceptions: Inconel 625 and 718, Hastelloy, Monel, Incoloy, A286, titanium, and PH stainless grades. A good share of the shops that send us work send it because of the material, not because of the tolerance.
Below are the markets where we do recurring work, and what those parts actually look like.
We also grind regularly for aerospace and UAV/drone components, building and construction equipment, energy and power generation, fasteners, food processing, lawn and garden, material handling, medical devices, military and defense equipment, mining and drilling, oil and gas service, packaging, printing, powersports and recreation, transportation, and other machine and tool shops.
If your part is cylindrical, under 6 inches in diameter, and has a tolerance on it, send the print.
